A message from our Founder and CEO Dr. Shannon Wood Gallegos

Dear B12 LOVE Community,

The health and safety of our staff, clients, and community is and will always be paramount at B12 LOVE. Our mission has remained the same; to make nutrient therapies accessible to individuals who felt they needed it, in a safe environment while adhering to the guidelines set forth. As healthcare providers, we have considered ourselves, as many of you have, an essential medical service. We believe strongly in the medical services provided at B12 LOVE, which can help play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ immune systems, mood, sleep, and general health and wellbeing.

For those who have visited during the COVID-19 crisis, you are aware of the extensive safety protocols implemented, long before they were considered requirements. These include having hand sanitizer available upon entering our facility, ensuring proper handwashing upon entering our facility, instituting social distancing, requiring PPE, and adhering to guidelines set forth by the CDC and local authorities.

Today, we want to share an update to our operations. B12 LOVE has been built on transparency and honesty to our clients, staff, and community. Recently, an inspector from the City of San Francisco visited our Marina/Cow Hollow location as a result of an anonymous complaint claiming that we are not an essential business. After taking the necessary steps with the city, the Health Officer deemed that we could continue to operate during this phase of the shelter-in-place, but with limited services and only for patients with specific illnesses or health needs. After thoughtful consideration, we’ve determined that these limitations would be difficult to uphold with consistency and could compromise the health and safety of those we’re trying to serve. As a result, we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily close our doors at our San Francisco Marina/Cow Hollow location until the shelter-in-place orders are lifted. Our Mill Valley (only 15 minutes from the Marina location), Novato, and Walnut Creek locations remain open. Please visit us at one of those locations if you feel like you could use some support.

We are staying positive during this stressful time and want to assure you of the following;

  1. All packages and services will remain on your account and will be available for you when B12 LOVE re-opens. Services do not expire.
  2. March, April, and May birthdays will still receive their complimentary birthday shot when we re-open!
  3. All active memberships will be placed on hold, no charges or auto payments will take place from 5/3/20 – 5/31/20. There is no action on your part. If the Shelter-in-place extends into June, we will take a similar approach and update you as needed.

We want to thank all of you who have supported our B12 Love community during this pandemic. We are so appreciative and are happy we are still able to support you during the peak of these stressful times. We know many of you are experiencing severe cabin fever as it’s not easy for most people working from home, taking care of families, financially struggling, and continuing to shelter in place.

Please continue to share the love with our healthcare workers, grocery workers, first responders, postal workers, and all essential workers. We know many of you will need your boost of B12 Love when we reopen the rest of our Bay Area locations, so we will continue to keep you posted about times, dates, locations, and when services will be offered again. Thank you for your continued support and understanding and we can’t wait to see you all again soon!

Best in health,
Dr. Shannon and Armando Gallegos and the entire B12 Love Family
